The Role:

Super Joe is seeking a senior developer to lead the ongoing development of their mobile app for iOS and Android. They have an experienced development team and a great product manager in place. The current Lead Engineer is transitioning to another team, so they need someone who can step into this role and continue driving the product’s development. Having experience with Flutter is highly desirable, but if you have worked with React Native, you can quickly adapt. A focus on delivering a great user experience is crucial. While previous wallet development experience is not required (although preferred), deep knowledge of Bitcoin is important for this role. Familiarity with NodeJS web applications is also desirable since you’ll be working with the mobile app’s API backend. Leadership skills are a must, as you’ll be responsible for guiding the team, resolving conflicts, coordinating with stakeholders and engineers, and collaborating closely with the product manager to achieve the company’s objectives. This is a fully remote position with flexible working hours and vacation policies. As the mobile team spans across different time zones, some flexibility for occasional meetings is appreciated.

Skills and experience that will help you succeed:

• Senior-level experience in iOS, Android, and either Flutter or React Native.
• Experience in developing backend web APIs, preferably with NodeJS, but open to related experience and a willingness to learn.
• Strong communication skills and a desire to take ownership and lead a product from concept to execution.
• Solid understanding of code organization and modularization principles.
• Have published at least one app on the Android or iOS app stores. Show us your work!
